We’ve been able to focus on design while maintaining a budget conscious approach. We work with hundreds of lighting manufacturers to source the best products at the most reasonable costs.
Its not just about the lighting fixtures – In California there is ‘Title 24’ mandated requirements that make designers and suppliers uncomfortable and left in the dark. We understand this and are staying at the forefront by regularly training our staff on lighting controls and upcoming code changes. While some brands have prototype requirements, we understand this and maneuver carefully with the goal on every project to deliver a design that is user friendly and capable of its full potential. We value each client with the intent to keep them as a “client for life”.
In 1999, Jason Salazar began working as an estimator for a small design/build electrical contracting firm. It was early on that he questioned some of the inflated costs of construction and electrical design but always worked rigorously to get a competitive edge over competing sub-contractors. Eventually he decided to learn more about the industry because he wasn’t able to accept the norm of the industry pricing structure and non-transparency approach. While attending night school for electrical code and theory, he began to offer ideas to engineers and architects on re-designed systems that would save tens of thousands of dollars to projects. It took some time for these ideas to grasp, but it is the main reason JSA works with some of the largest hotel developers in California today. It started with cost savings, and developed into upscale designs that are innovative and cutting-edge to the vertical market. With support of his family and 5 children, he has embraced the opportunity to provide a work place for over 50+ employees that has a small business family-first mentality. With this approach, he has hired some of the best professionals, designers, drafters, and sales team to stay ahead of the competition every step of the way.
